I would not go with Steam either - you lose control of your XP version and you get less updates.Īdd-on aircrafts that are only work with XP10 are clearly indicated. It is nothing compared to the amount you might spend of getting plugins and payware aircraft, each of which will most likely cost you more than XP itself. The new version of the SAAB is due out any day now, so any problems in that area will be over any way.Īnd to the OP - I would not worry about the cost of XP. I have not retried the SAAB, but I suspect that it will now also work. I have recently tried the IXEG again in 11.11 and it now seems to work perfectly. I could not fly the SAAB or the IXEG aircraft at one point, so totally gave up on them. I am guessing that some of the middle versions between 11.0 and 11.1 had problems. But I have found that since XP has moved onto 11.11, a lot of the aircraft now work ok again. Some users DO have problems with XP 10 era aircraft, myself being one of them.
